so frustrated right now.
i’ve been looking for internships and part-time jobs in North Carolina for the summer or for the school year, and i can’t find anything. i’ve searched in every field possible on all these different job/internship/nonprofit sites and it just seems like either no one is hiring and/or my major is going to be useless and i should just give up now. Niner Job Net has been no help whatsoever.
fuck international studies. if i would have known that i would be stuck like this, i would have chosen a major in a more hire-able field.
at this point, i would be happy to take a minimum wage sales job for the summer.

are you an incoming Freshman or just new to UNCC? either way, 1) welcome :] and 2) it can be hard to find people who are into the same music scene at a school so large, but i really recommend you check out Concerts&Causes. they/we put on concerts with local bands and raise money for good causes, and we also bring larger acts to campus several times per semester. in the past, we’ve brought the people from TWLOHA, as well as lots of pop punk and hardcore bands to campus. i’ve met some of my best friends [and my boyfriend] through that club and they’re some of the most unique, welcoming, amazing people you’ll ever meet. just letting you know in case you haven’t heard about them/us yet! let me know if you’re interested, and congrats on getting accepted to UNCC! - Camille, AKA i quite like that P.S. i swear i’m not some crazy stalker promotional person, i just really care about this club haha
